There were over 200 attendees from Crown Heights North for a Town Hall styled informational meeting regarding historic district designation of Crown Heights North. Commissioner Tierney along with key LPC staff answered questions from community residents regarding the effects of historic district status. Also present were Council Members Albert Vann and Lettitia James, Senator Carl Andrews, Assemblyman Karim Camara (43rd District) as well as representatives from Community Board 8, the Borough President's Office and the Mayor's Office. There were also representatives from the Historic District Council as well as other non-profit organizations.
