CHNA is actively involved within the community. Not only by working with other community organizations, and government representatives, but by offering programs of our own-The Annual House tour, The anti-abandonment program, Homeowner education.
Every year at in December we hold our Annual Holiday Lighting Contest. Awards include a $100.00 cash prize, a $75.00 cash prize and a bottle of champagne. n 2012, we expanded the contest from residential to commercial. We hope to encourage more merchants, especially along the Nostrand Ave. Corridor to join in the spirit of the season!
