Preparing For Emergencies (Free Class)

As severe weather events grow more frequent and intense, it's crucial for New Yorkers to be ready for disasters. The NY Citizen Preparedness Training Program equips residents with the tools and resources needed to prepare for any disaster, respond effectively, and quickly return to normal conditions. This training course offers an introduction to handling natural or man-made disasters. Participants will learn how to properly prepare, including creating a family emergency plan and gathering emergency supplies. Every attending family will receive a preparedness kit.
